Terms of Service

These policies govern the use of the Traider mobile and web application operated by Traider LLC ("Traider," "we," "our," or "us"). Traider is an AI-powered trading journal and analytics tool designed for educational and informational purposes only.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Traider (including https://www.traiderapp.com and related services), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. No Financial Advice Disclaimer

Traider provides educational and informational tools only.

• Traider does not provide financial, investment, or trading advice.
• All trading decisions are made solely by you.
• Past performance does not guarantee future results.
• Trading futures and other leveraged products involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. You can lose more than you deposit.
• AI-generated insights are informational, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and are not recommendations to buy or sell anything.

3. Eligibility & Your Responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use Traider. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login secure, use Traider for lawful purposes only, and not misuse, reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to exploit the platform.

4. Subscriptions, Free Trials & Automatic Renewal

Traider offers a Free plan at no cost. Additional features require a paid subscription (Basic or Elite), billed monthly or annually through our payment processor, Stripe.

• Free trial. New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial. A payment card is required to start the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged the plan price shown at sign-up when the trial ends.
• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (every month or every year, depending on the plan you chose) and your payment method is charged the then-current price until you cancel.
• How to cancel. You can cancel online at any time in the app under Settings → Billing (Manage Subscription). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period or trial; you keep access until then and are not charged again.
• Plan changes. Switching plans on an active subscription takes effect immediately, with a prorated charge or credit applied by Stripe.
• Price changes. We will email you at least 30 days before any price increase applies to your subscription. If you do not want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.
• Refunds. Fees are non-refundable except as stated in our Refund Policy.

By starting a subscription you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis as described above. We may change or discontinue features of the Service.

5. Broker & Platform Connections

If you connect a brokerage or trading platform (such as Tradovate, TopstepX, or cTrader), Traider accesses your account data with read-only permission to import trades, balances, and risk settings. Traider cannot place, modify, or cancel orders or move funds. You are responsible for complying with your broker's or prop firm's own terms. Imported data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate; always rely on your broker's official statements. You can disconnect an account at any time. Traider is not affiliated with or endorsed by these providers.

6. Your Content & Social Features

You own the journal entries, notes, screenshots, and other content you add ("Your Content"). You grant Traider a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content only to operate the Service, including generating AI insights. If you use social features (friends, followers, the leaderboard, or shareable PnL cards), the information you choose to share is visible to other users as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not post content that is unlawful, misleading, or infringes others' rights. Shared results are your own; do not present them as financial advice or as typical outcomes.

7. Intellectual Property

All Traider branding, software, and design are owned by Traider LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without permission.

8. Termination & Account Deletion

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or pose security risks. You can cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → Billing, and you can permanently delete your account and data at any time in your Profile (Delete account). Deleting your account cancels any active subscription immediately without a refund. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 9 through 13) survive.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Traider is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for trading losses, missed opportunities, or data inaccuracies. We and our affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Traider LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and by the Federal Arbitration Act for Section 12. Subject to Section 12, any action must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and Traider consent to their jurisdiction.

12. Dispute Resolution, Arbitration & Class-Action Waiver

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights. Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by emailing support@traiderapp.com; if it is not resolved within 30 days, either party may proceed as follows.

• Binding individual arbitration. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, instead of in court. The arbitration may be conducted remotely or in the county where you live.
• Small claims. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies.
• Class-action waiver. Claims may be brought only in an individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding, and the arbitrator may not consolidate claims of more than one person.
• 30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@traiderapp.com with your name, account email, and a statement that you opt out, within 30 days after you first accept these Terms.
• If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim will proceed in court under Section 11, not in arbitration.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will email you (and show a notice in the app) at least 30 days before they take effect; the updated Terms apply to use of the Service after that date. Changes to Section 12 will not apply to disputes already pending. If you do not agree, you may cancel and delete your account before the changes take effect.
